Dam Dam Dam April Outing

I woke up to a beautiful sunny day in the mountains, so before we left on our very long day outing, (which mostly included ssssshhhopping) I took some pictures from different levels of our house. The views just keep getting "higher" and "higher!" Of course I had to throw in some of my daffodils in a vase. I broke down and cut some. I have a hard time doing that with my spring bulbs as after seeing white for so very long, especially THIS winter, I like to savor the color in my garden. Rock and I then proceeded on our dam dam dam April outing. Dam because we took the scenic route and not only saw (for the hundredth time) the Grand Coulee Dam, but Chief Joseph Dam, which made the trip even damn longer, spent too damn much money, and had a very long damn day! However, in actually, no matter how many times I see something around here, it never gets old as this is really beautiful country.
High
Higher
Highest! No railings on our rooftop from our highest peak, too scared to go any farther back!
If you are wondering about the "shiny" stuff, it is black plastic to stop weed growth!!!!!!!!!!!
We call this the "DeWitt" Mountain

Just an everyday view on the way to the "Dam!"

Apple Orchards in beginning to bloom in the Wenatchee Valley
Rock wanting to buy a Ranger! Oh well, at least I would get to ride in it.
A typical "truck full" after a day of shopping while living in "BFE!"
