April showers bring May flowers. Oh, how I wait for the merry month of May. My bulbs that have been buried under snow for the long winter, rear their beautiful little heads and bring joy to my heart. The days are longer, the snow is gone, the birds are singing louder, my hummingbirds are here to visit, the fish are jumping in our river, and I don't even mind knowing that the bears are coming out of hibernation, because it is Spring. I went to Spokane to meet Danielle, who was there on business, to celebrate my Mother's Day with her. We had a good time together. Then to make my Spring even better, Amya came to see Grandma and Grandpa for the first time. Dionne and Brian hadn't come here since November of 2007 as Dionne was just too pregnant. We celebrated her first Mother's Day and had a great visit.

I can work and picnic with Mom in our room!
