December Christmas Preparations and Celebrations

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS

I wish you all a healthy, happy and prosperous 2010

Almost........

I failed to mention that after we arrived home from Chrismukkah--ing in Seattle, a day later, we drove my friend and neighbor Debbie, to Spokane as she was leaving on a jet plane to North Dakota to see her kids and grand kids. We stayed overnight after going to a movie and dinner, and finished our Christmas shopping next day, getting home way after midnight.....all this before Danielle arrived! However, after all the preparations and crazy busy few days before Danielle arrived Christmas eve, we were able to relax with her and realized how well worth all the craziness is! It was good to have quality time with Danielle and the grand dogs before more madness. The kids arrived the day after Christmas. It was wonderful to all be together here. We opened presents, visited, ate and drank and just had a nice time together. Next day Danielle had to leave as she had to work Monday. Dionne and I went to Republic for a few hours just to browse around and have some quiet time away. The rest of the week was spent being entertained by our cutest ever baby, Amya Ruby! Rock and Brian did a ton of cleaning up around the property, burning brush and having fun outdoors. We didn't have too much snow so the conditions were perfect for that kind of work. Dionne and I cooked and just relaxed and enjoyed each other's company. Corey, Audrey, Alana and baby Casen arrived Wednesday. A house full indeed. It snowed just enough to be able to be outside with the kids sledding, taking hikes and enjoying the winter air. New Year's Eve Brian put on a wonderful fireworks display, made a huge campfire and warmed up the barn. We now have electricity out there and a floor. We played ping pong, sang songs around the campfire and before we knew it, the clock struck 12!! Champagne was on ice waiting for us. It was a wonderful week with the kids and the best New Year at Tessadora Manor!
May we all be blessed!
