Dionne's gone fishing

Amya's going fishing and Grammarazzi is, taking pictures, imagine that!

We had a wonderful few days with the kids August 20 through August 25th. We arrived Thursday and left for the cabin Friday when Brian got home from work. Dionne and I had pedicures and haircuts on Thursday so we were beautiful for the wedding! When we arrived at the cabin Friday we only had time to get ready for the wedding, which was in Poulsbo about an hour drive away. Danelle Deppings' wedding was held at the Kiana Lodge overlooking the water, which was an absolutely beautiful setting. Appetizers, drinks and dinner was served. Very good food. It was fun to visit with Tara and Jesse who just returned from Uganda. Amya had a blast and joined in the celebrations, including the dancing. The rest of the weekend we spent playing on the beach, fishing, shopping, eating good food, laughing and resting and relaxing. We took the ferry back on Sunday and stopped in West Seattle to visit Sue and Cliff. We also took Amya to the park, which is something she always enjoys. On Monday we went to Redondo Beach and watched Dionne and Brian scuba diving. This was the day they received their certificates and are now certified scuba divers. After a wonderful time, we returned home Tuesday morning.

About Me

My photo
Still enjoying my life "under the Keller sun" on our slice of paradise, traveling around to see friends and family and making many trips to see our most amazing grandchild and now MOSTLY, being a Grandma, getting as much of our Amya as we possibly can and LOVING grandparenthood.
