Rock's childhood friend, Jerry Smith, lost his Mom this year in October.  We attended the "Celebration of Life" in Ellensburg and although it was a sad occasion, it was good to see old friends..

A happy, haunting Halloween visit to Renton.  This is always such a wonderful time to be around the Irvins, their friends and family...

September is always BEST in the Garden!!

 September is my very best time in my garden.  Everything that I have managed to keep wet during the very hot months, is showing me it was worth the effort!!  I pretty much have a continuous bloom throughout the spring to fall season and even things that are done blooming are looking pretty good in September.  Plus the mid summer to fall blooms are at their very best.  I can slow down on the watering now and sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labor..look at my variety of lettuce, started from little seeds this Spring!  I started many flowers, herbs and vegetables this year in early, very early Spring in my greenhouse, under grow lights...

September is another one of my favorite months here in Keller.  We had a visit from Danielle, her friends Holly and Chris and all five dogs!!  Fun times.  Dionne and Amya came for Rock's 68th birthday.  This visit was amazing as always, especially baking a cake with Amya for her Papa.  We also visited Renton at the end of September.  The count down to Israel must have begun this month and so excitement was rising.
