April Comings and Goings

Rock and I took the long way round...beautiful scenic drive including visiting the "Potholes" and country we haven't seen before.

Brian, Dionne and I did our first Spring Barrel in the Yakima Valley, beginning right here at this winery,"Hinzerling!"
This is our third Spring Barrel and Rock's Second...

Ending March on a Very Happy Note

On March 24, Dionne and Amya arrived late afternoon. They stayed for a day short of a week. We all had a wonderful visit. This was my highlight for March. We went out to breakfast at the senior center....(lol), then on to Keller School to buy books at their annual book fair. Amya loved this as she loves books. We played at the local park and watched her throw rocks into the water. It was a beautiful day. We had lots of good food, including our Passover dinner. Amya loved the matzoh and the chicken soup with matzoh balls. Papa babysat her all day Saturday while Dionne and I went shopping in Spokane. Dionne had not had an "unrushed" shop for quite a while. For me it was also an "unrushed" day as usually I am with Rock and it is a different kind of shopping we have to do. We had coffee and lunch out and generally had a very fun day. The weather wasn't that great but we managed to get outside to swing, feed the birds and gather pinecones. Dionne and I were able to get some scrapping done as well....well Dionne did 5 pages and I am still in the process of completing the two I started with her...We had a wonderful visit and I hope they come back soon.

We have Amya singing *(as always)* and dancing to her nursery rhymes this time. In the second video she decided that my little "lazy Susan" I keep on my kitchen table is her birthday cake!! What an imagination she has.
